Microsoft IIS3.0 supported Gopher, but Gopher support is discontinued in IIS4.0
Internet Information Server 4.0 supports the following:
1. Multiple FTP sites. This include one default FTP site at <root>:\Inetpub\ftproot and multiple virtual FTP sites.
2. Multiple W W W sites. This include one default W W W site at <root>:\Inetpub\wwwroot and multiple virtual W W W sites.
3. One SMTP site
4. One NNTP site
You can't create multiple SMTP and NNTP sites using IIS4.0.
